Weekly Practica

After up to 10 hours of lessons a week, our students wish to try and practice the moves and techniques taught in classes, on their own.

Following the Sunday night themed workshop at The Union Tavern, from 8.00–10.30pm, we hold a practica—a free-practice session, where you can practice at your pace without your only concern being traffic and strict etiquette of a milonga dance floor (our regular milonga is on Thursday evenings). Of course proper dance-floor etiquette is very important, but a milonga is an improper place to learn to dance, to practice moves and to experiment with your improvisation skills.

A practica is a must for all Tango students of any level. Putting your dance knowledge and classes into practice allows you to consolidate newly learned knowledge and to quickly internalise it in your body's memory, before it is lost.

Price

Our practica session is excellent value for money at only £5.00 per person. The practica session is included for students who attend the workshop.

As always, please check our special events and news pages first, prior to departure, to ensure the practica is on at the same venue and time.
