Progression and Development with Private Classes
- How quickly should I expect to progress?
- Your progress depends on individual talent and previous dance experience. Some people learn quicker than others, but it is possible for everyone to learn Tango, at their own pace.
- What if I get frustrated in the class, as I am a slow learner?
- Consider taking a few private lessons. In this way you will get all the attention of the teacher, who will help you to understand the basic principles and get more confidence to be able to learn more quickly than in the group class. Private classes will also make your learning faster and more enjoyable and prevent you from acquiring bad habits.
- What is the optimal number of private classes to progress from one level to the next?
- At least six lessons, once a week.
- What if I can't afford weekly private classes?
- Take them as often as you can, periodically, as one private class is equivalent to five or six group classes.
- What level of private tuition is available?
- Private tuition is available at all levels, from complete beginners to professional level. This includes choreography lessons for weddings, or with the purpose of performance, practice of or preparation for Tango exams.
